Will Hard Work Save the Economy?
Any circumstance, no matter how difficult, provides an opportunity for us to choose who we want to ‘be’ in response to that condition. Difficult challenges, even extreme challenges, provide an opportunity for the virtues of patience, humility, compassion, and courage to shine through. The soul, which is alive in the Heart of every human being, has an opportunity to shine in challenging circumstances, including extreme work conditions.

AWARENESS allows a person to understand themselves and to understand others. This AWARENESS allows us to even forgive those who have hurt us because we realize that those who intentionally hurt others are living with an internal hell themselves in which they feel like others are attacking them.
Most souls on earth have a great deal of unhealed ego with glimmers of pure Heart shining through from time to time. It is the glimmers of Heart that allow the world to go on. It is the moments of clear awareness that hold the world together.

As the identity becomes lost in the mind, the voice of the Heart can seem to have vanished. The various conditions of the mind find it difficult to trust, because trusting other outward conditions had led to disappointment. It is only when the attention shifts to the unconditional, that the mind can find a safe place to trust again.

“Deep within our Heart is a feeling of Ecstasy. How, then, do we manage to lose this feeling? How do we lose something that is right there in the core of our own Self?"
The feeling that lives within our own Heart is beyond what any words can describe. This feeling can be experienced, yes. However, it cannot be spoken of adequately. These words are like saying nothing, compared to the actual experience. But since I have these words…. like a fool, I will say nothing as best I can.
